Engel Baby Wool Fleece Pants - Blue Melange
Engel's organic thick wool fleece is soft and cozy- an essential item for fall and winter. Thick, warm, and wind-proof, your baby will stay comfortable in dry in these fleece pants. These pants feature a soft, high waistband to keep your child's lower back and tummy warm. An excellent alternative to synthetic polyester fleece.
Made by Engel, these pants are made of 100% organic virgin wool fleece. This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy against baby's sensitive skin. The Merino sheep are organically raised without the use of pesticides on neither pastures nor animals.
CARE
Wool garments are naturally antibacterial and do not retain dirt or odors quickly, so you do not need to wash this garment frequently. Woollens are best washed with a wool shampoo by hand and with cold water (water shouldn't be ice cold as it can shock fibers as well). Hang to dry. If preferred, this garment can also be washed in the machine with lukewarm water (30 C) on a delicate or wool wash setting, short spin on lowest setting.
SIZING
Sizes given are based on European sizing. A size 50/56 means that it will fit babies with a head to feet length of 50 to 56 cm.
The wool fleece line by Engel is very generously sized and we do not recommend to size up on these items.

Excellent wool pant good price
These wool pants are a little bit fuzzy almost a felted type feel. They are very warm for outside or cool weather indoors but also work great for a longie for a cloth fitted diaper underneath. I find they work as well as wool pants designed to be a diaper cover but less expensive. I want to buy another pair. Highly recommend.

Fantastic use out of these trousers!
We have been using these beautiful trousers all winter long - from when our little one was 4 months old up to now that she is 7 months old, and there is much more life in them: there is still room to grow into, and the quality of the wool and manufacture is excellent. We particularly liked the high waistband that kept her tummy warm and enable a perfect fit, and the stretchy high bands at the ankles that kept her socks in, and fit perfectly into wool booties. We are going to buy a pair also for the next winter. Dankeschoen!
