Disana Boiled Wool Zip Overalls

Introducing the Disana zip-overall, designed to meet parents' wishes for an easy-to-use overall with a convenient zipper. The wide-opening zip makes dressing and nappy changes a breeze.

Available in sizes 50/56 to 86/92, this zip-overall features turn-up cuffs on the arms and legs and an extra-deep crotch, perfect for babies carried in slings.

For older children, our zip-overall comes in sizes 98/104 and 110/116, with knitted cuffs on the arms, two patch pockets on the sides, and an extra-long body for plenty of legroom.

The boiled wool regulates temperature and humidity like no other fabric. The high lanoline content in the wool makes the overall almost waterproof. Both these effects make the boiled wool overall great to wear over baby‘s clothes when playing in the snow. The hood and neck part are lined with fine organic cotton to ensure nothing itches in these sensitive areas.

Merino wool is incredibly light and soft, does not scratch or stick to the skin. It keeps you warm in the cold and cools in the heat. In addition, it is self-cleaning and smell-resistant.

SIZES

50/56 = 0-3 months
62/68 = 3-6 months
74/80 = 6-12 months
86/92 = 12-24 months
98/104 = 3-4 years

Disana sizes are based on your child's height, not their age. While you know your child's age, it doesn't reliably indicate the right size. That's why we recommend measuring your child’s height before choosing a size. See sizing chart in images

A common question is: how much room to grow is okay? Folding sleeves or pant legs once is usually fine—but anything more can affect comfort. It's important that your child can move freely and, most importantly, stays warm. A jacket or overall that's too large may limit movement and let in cold air.

CARE

Pure new wool is naturally dirt and odour repellent. That's why woollen items only rarely need to be washed. Airing in the fresh air is usually sufficient to get a woollen item hygienically clean and fresh again. If a woollen article does need to be washed, it should be handled with care.

Washing is always at your own risk.

We recommend washing our disana wool items by hand. This is best done in the hand wash basin, in cold water, with our disana wool shampoo. Do not wring or rub, just press through lightly. Then rinse at the same water temperature and squeeze out carefully. If you prefer to machine wash, please do so in the wool wash program, cold and without spinning or only with a maximum of 400 rotations.
Dry lying on the washing rack in a place that is not too sunny.

Use wool detergent

    Just perfect

This is such a nice outdoors suit for my toddler. The wool is much softer than I anticipated. It's really convenient just being able to throw her into a suit rather than dealing with outdoor pants and jackets, I can just slip it over whatever she's wearing - it's very roomy but sits nicely. The zipper is wonderful. I can already tell I'd be impatient with buttons. I REALLY wanted the olive green color, but the blue-green "Pacific" color is really nice in-person, and looks adorable with yellow boots.
